Ingredients

  • 2 Ounces Mount Gay Eclipse rum

  • 0.5 Ounces John D. Taylor Velvet Falernum

  • 1 Ounce Fresh lime juice

  • .50 Ounces Simple syrup

  • 2 Dash Dale DeGroff’s Pimento Aromatic Bitters

  • 1 Piece Lime wedge and/or cherry (for garnish)

Directions

  • Fill a tall glass with crushed ice until almost full.
  • Add Mount Gay Eclipse rum, Velvet Falernum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and bitters.
  • Insert the swizzle stick and hold it between your palms.
  • Rapidly rotate the swizzle stick back and forth between your palms until the outside of the glass frosts.
  • Top with additional crushed ice if needed.
  • Garnish with a fresh lime wedge.
