After taking a trip to Vancouver for crimson cocktail’s very own Yerain Abreu’s wedding, I had the very fortunate chance to try out one of Canada’s hidden gems. I’m of course talking about Tim Hortons…

Then, the day after the wedding, to continue my drinking from the night before, I was in the mood for a Bloody Mary when I came across some on the menu that almost resembled it. It was called The Caesar.

Lighter than the Bloody Mary but just as boozy, I knew right away I had to get The Ceaser Cocktail off the brunch menu and onto crimson cocktail. Here is the Ceaser Cocktail. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • .50 Ounce Vodka

  • Clamato Juice (Clam and Tomato Juice mixed)

  • 2 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce

  • 2 Dashes Tabasco Hot Sauce

  • Celery Salt

  • 1 Whole Lime

  • Ice

  • Optional Garnish Ideas: shrimp, jalapeno, dill pickle, cherry tomato, olive, lettuce, celery

Directions

  • Rim a collin glass with a quarter of the lime and then dip it in the Celery Salt
  • Squeeze a quarter of the lime into the collin glass and save it for later as a garnish
  • Pour the vodka into the glass, followed by the dashes of Worcestershire sauce, then the dashes of Tabasco sauce.
  • Fill the glass with ice
  • Shake the Clamato juice and fill the glass close to the top
  • Garnish with pretty much anything you want. Get weird with it!

Notes

  • If you want to take The Ceaser to the next level, add a dash of olive juice, experiment with a spicer hot sauce, and maybe add some pickle juice and even some horseradish. Let us know what’s your perfect combo in the comments below.
